The gala event of the Cruise Show 2009 was held in the garden of the seventeenth-century Villa Aurelia in the fashion capital of the fashion conscious Italy. The vent also became the occasion for the 70th anniversary of the opening of Gucci’s Via Condotti store in Rome.

The resort collection by the designer tag can be summed up as a multi colored casual delight. The variety of colors that were used in the collection added vibrance to the whole show. Bright orange, teal, python, white and camel really stole the show. The collection just showed the inspiration from the style of the decade of seventees mingled with the rock-n-roll fashion which was delicately blended with relaxing feeling of resort.

There was not much creativity and innovation witnessed in the fashion show, but it came up as a delightful, colorful and relaxing experience with the outfits meant for resort.
