Ripped Jeans: in Trend
By admin | April 1, 2008

Well, I always think that there are lesser innovations with jeans as compared to other apparels. In my opinion, the fashion designers are much less interested in showing their creativity in this domain. But, I am really excited about the current trend in jeans that has made a come back…
Yes! Good news for all those who want some novelty in the jeans that they wear. The retrieval of the style of ripped jeans is really amazing news for all style freaks out there. What I like about these jeans is that they make you look fashionable and they are the most appropriate garments for the summers because they are so airy! The trend has, therefore, dominated the spring/summer collections for 2008. You can see how beautiful the model Christopher Kane looks during one of her recent fashion shows.

The casual and sensual appearance that these jeans give you is simply mind blowing. Let’s have a look at Margiela in one of the shows done in 2008. Her jeans displays the style of the decade of 80’s. Well, I wonder whether these are jeans are ripped, or rags that are given the name of jeans. But, these are extremely experimental and enjoyable.

Flimsy Fabrics Dominate The Trend
By admin | March 24, 2008

The trends for the upcoming seasons of spring and summer are decided by the fashion tycoons of the industry. This year, the trends which will dominate the high street fashion are going to be the ones which are extremely delicate and flimsy. Therefore, just leave your selves free this season and follow the delicate and flimsy fashion trend. To your surprise you will find out the benefits of such trend following. The designers have been stressing on these fabrics as they are quite comfortable in summers and springs. They give you scope for being yourself.

Well known fashion designers such as BCBG, Alessandro Dell AcQua as well as J.Mendel have purported the current trend by designing such garments. Don’t you think that this is an innovative style? i find the style exclusive, creative, and comfortable too. The fashion artists have just turned these fragile fabrics into loose skirts or overlays. Another noticeable point is that the dresses are not skinny. This gesture moves beyond the quest to look sensual with tight fitted clothes. This is a move towards giving ample space to the body to breathe. I am just waiting to have some of these exclusive and comfortable silhouettes. What do you think about these? Are you waiting for them too for an ultimate collection for the summer and spring season?

Milan Fashion Week: Dolce & Gabbana Goes Scottish
By admin | February 19, 2008
It wasn’t all about Missoni, Cavalli and Emporio at the Milan Fashion Week this time. The fashionistas witnessed a splurge of the best designer outfits. The D & G duo had a blast with their posh plaid gowns, all done in Scottish motif that transformed the massive catwalk stage into the beautiful ballrooms of Scotland in the Milan Fashion Week.
The terrific studs famous for their sexy corsets, made a dash for the highland style of Scotland, where they made use of a mind-boggling variety of tartan and plaids to highlight the skirts worn by peasant womenfolk’s, flouncy looking gowns decorated with either a plain or muttonchop necks.
Boy, it was rather a shock for the otherwise elite class of women, as D & G is best known for their ultra-chic and sexy corsets and by Jesus, what a transformation. I am sure that the British mothers and the sweet looking grandma’s would surely bless them with all their heart.
Take a look…flown straight from the Scottish Highland…

By admin | February 18, 2008

Giorgio Armani surely has a thing in him, which sets him apart with a niche identity in the world of fashion. The man has such a sense of grace as his age that literally any model will fall for his charm, not to mention about his loyal list of clientele, which includes the who’s who of the world. Super models, business tycoons, politicians, Hollywood studs and hotties, all loves this man for his unique creations, which as times passes by is becoming even more extraordinaire and beautiful.
The designer who normally kicks off the grand finale with his splendid collection opened up the Monday morning at Milan Fashion Week with his younger Emporio collection. He was quoted saying, “After seasons of colour, black is back. But, to be truthful, it has never really gone away.”

The show was thrown open with a man dressed in a brown velvet suit. His collection was mainly a fusion of his all-time favourite global elements – Chinese, Indian to Spanish flavours.
Here’s a sneak peek into what send the audiences adrenaline rushing like hot pipes…
