American Eagle promises that we will love this dress as much as we love our favorite T and we’re inclined to believe them. This dresses is just as easy to wear as any tee - with the added bonus that pants are completely optional!

We love the designer dresses perfect casual vibe of this dress and have decided this will be our new designer dresses Saturday morning go-to dress.

We’d wear this one with black tights or layer it over a long-sleeved tee and skinny jeans (gotta find a way to recycle those!) and go out into the world to run our errands in comfort.

Easy, pretty, and no-fuss: What’s not to love?

A short and sassy mini-dress for your wedding, this sweet concoction by Watters is subtly sexy in lace but still full of romance. And isn’t that all you need on your wedding day?

The scalloped neckline and hem add enough interest to this dress that you won’t need a veil. (Let’s be honest here - most veils would be longer than this dress. This isn’t for the shy.)

For non-traditionalist brides who want to eschew a fairytale white wedding dress and wear something that truly reflects an independent, creative and free spirit, finding the right dress, at an acceptable cost, can be quite a task.

Recently, we discovered,Wai-Ching Clothing, by Chrissy Wai Ching, a marvelous Seattle-based designer who has a range of fabulous ‘Indie’ bridal wear (and a great range of fashion clothing as well).

The good news is that even if you live far away from Seattle, you can still order a dress from Wai-Ching and know that it will fit you perfectly. The studio communicates closely with you to get your measurements and they guarantee a perfect fit.

Their designs can be altered to suit you, and they will happily adapt existing designs, adding, for example, straps, corset backs and trains. Best of all, though, are the prices. Most designer wedding dresses fall above the $2000 mark but a Wai-Ching gown can cost as little as $198.

Retro-glamour at its best, this dress by David’s Bridal brand Galena Signature has a gorgeous draped bust line that’s emphasized in the front and back by glittering brooches so you can wow them both coming and going.

The draping and empire waist give this dresses a definite goddess feel. We find it to be sophisticated and sexy and are sure that any bride wearing this will feel like a siren.

We’re doing a second Dress of the Day today, partially because our motivation melted in the late-June heat yesterday, and partially because we couldn’t wait until tomorrow to gawk at this silk handkerchief masquerading as a mini dress. The Virginia Silk Mini Dress by designer Rory Beca is a little wrap style dress, and by “little,” we mean “extremely super tiny,” that is held closed in the front with a snap button at the crossover V neckline and a solid sash belt that ties.

Apparently, there is an elastic waistband that would be helpful for those of us who might need a little bit of give around the waist, but really, if that were the case, we shouldn’t be wearing a dress that falls a mere 17″ from the natural waistline. The dress features side slash pockets which we assume is only for show. If you put anything in those pockets, they’d drag the dress right off your body.

We have a confession to make.

Ever since investing all of $40 on a cheap jersey maxi dress a few weeks ago, we have been unable to give our attention to anything else. Yes, we are obsessed with the maxi dress.

Of course, the Print Tube dress by T-bags is nowhere near a mere $40, but the brick and blue multi-print rayon dress is worth the $218 price. The dress has ruching and an overly at the bust and falls 51″ to the floor, perfect for a pair of thongs on a tall girl, or platform wedge sandals on those of us who are not quite so tall. Because the dress is strapless, it can work for evening, too.

It would have been nice if the name of this Multi-color “Boob” dress by Filippa K were some hint, some promise of, well, any help it could provide for us in that area.

Unfortunately, the dress has nothing to do with “support” or “enhancement.”

Fortunately, the purple (bloom), taupe (bark) and white color blocked dress has everything to do with staying stylishly cool through the heat of summer. Strapless means it can be worn out in the sunshine without the thret of tan marks, 100% viscose is cool to the touch, and the ruched waist makes the dress easy and comfortable to wear

This dress is a sleek alternative to the tiered gowns that have been so hot this year. If you like the statuesque look of tiered gowns but would rather avoid frilly ruffles, thisDesigner does away with them and replaces them with crystal appliques that will sparkle in the candlelight. But that’s not the only luxurious detail in this gown: It’s made of lovely Alencon lace and has additional crystal embellishments throughout. The back is accented by a deep V which leads to a row of the tiniest fabric-covered buttons you’ve ever seen.

There’s definitely a lot going on in this dress, but the masters at Priscilla of Boston manage to make it all exquisitely elegant and timeless.
