Generally, the main plan of mainly acoustic tiles is to get better sound superiority and block noise transmission within a room or concert hall. But Turkey’s Altera Design Studio has a dissimilar take on the building material. Acoustic tiles feel that the normally drab tiles can also be made as stylish and good-looking as they are functional. And that is what motivated the designers to come up with Acustica, a line of good-looking acoustic tiles that also feature included lighting to add life to any place.

Marks & Spencer, Designer, Fashion, Footwear, High chair heels, High Chair Sandals, high chair shoes, Off bit Looks, Trendy Fashion Footwear

It is a hard to trust these frocks come from Marks & Spencer. I feel a bit similar to I am banging my head against a big brick wall when I converse the merits of shop our mothers have been frequenting for ages, but I have lost track of the amount of times I have received compliments on M&S finds and surprised gasps when I have said where they are from.

These dresses signify actual extremes the brand has gone to in organize to keep up with the Joneses. Take leather zip-up dress (£149). Meanwhile, the voluminous pure silk leopard dress (£65) is an actually tricky nature and makes even tiny model appear big, but I reckon with a chunky belt and big sunnies on the right Olsen twin-esque girl, These dresses has a certain 70s appeal.

The auction will be a place to witnees the products by the big shots of the fashion world such as Gianni Versace, Balenciaga , Christian Lacroix, Thierry Mugler, and Mainbocher.

What is special about the auction is that it would pay a tribute to the extremely talented and renowned French couturier Yves Saint Laurent who recently passed away. the event would include the display and auction of apparels and jewelry designed by Yves Saint Laurent in every decade of his life. Such a display will show the progress of the dexterous fashion designer.

Just look at the YSL designed Christian Dior dress from Fall/Winter in 1958. the approximate price of this piece is $1,000-1,500 only while this cut-out floral necklace designed by Saint Laurent for Spring/Summer 1990 would be available roughly for $1,000-1,500.

Pick of the Day: Hand Bag by Phillip Lim

Saturday, June 28th, 2008 | Art & Design, Bags, Collection, Designer, Designer Accessories, Fashion, Life style, Luxury, Style with No Comments »

hand-bag

The hand bags that are ‘in’ these days are surely the opposite of the trend that was prevalent some time ago. If you carry the same old and archaic hand bags, then you are not one of the style freaks for sure. One must keep on changing with changing trends of fashion. The continuous flow of life gives meaning to it and there is no use being stagnant.

These days the sizeable hand bags are in fashion. They look chic and are also convenient for the consumers. Personally, this trend is so easy to follow. The huge bags have much space and one can carry any and everything useful in them.

This designer piece is so exclusive that only the true lovers of hand bags can actually appreciate its worthiness. This chic hand bag is as much useful as it is classy. This designer handbag by the famous fashion designer Phillip Lim is made up of smooth goat skin. The embossed horizontal stripes of the bag show an exclusivity of the patterning on the piece. The black metal hardware that has been finely painted gives the bag a mod look. The adornments of studs add to the style of the designer hand bag. This leather hand bag would definitely be an asset forever.

You can make the piece yours by shelling out $475.00 only. This hand bag would surely be a long lasting accessory that suits your elegant style.

The Milan Fashion Week comes with a great store of imagination for all its viewers. The grand event is waited eagerly by all the people who are literally crazy about fashion. The fashion week has come this time with some exclusive designs and outfits that have never been encountered before. The fashion week started off with a huge bang on the 21st of this month and has wrapped up today. The infinitesimal patterns in men’s clothing have amazed the stylish audience to a great extent.
milan2

Various fashion designers contributed to make the Milan Fashion Week, an event worth cherishing for. Ennio Capasa made a beautiful attempt to put forward eco fashion that has till now been welcomed only by women’s wear.

Christopher Bailey, the renowned designer, exhibited somber outfits at the show. The outfits were dashing with their sober look as opposed to some designers who stresses on shining shirts which seemed to look very out dated. Bailey, rather preferred to continue with the style that he presented in FW/08-09. There were pastoral shades in his creations.

Dolce & Gabbana gave an entirely new look to men’s clothing by mingling up the concepts of daywear and night wear. This innovation was much applauded by the audience. The casual and carefree pinstripe suits closely resembling pajamas were paired with exclusive evening formal shirts.
Overall, the entire event gave new ideas and concepts that would be followed by stylish men this season!

The Luella Trend

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | Apparels, Art & Design, Artist, Designer, Designer dresses, Designer wear for women with No Comments »

luella
The short skirts are always so much in trend that one never feels that they would ever go out of fashion. Stylish ladies are so much tempted by them that they don’t even leave wearing them in chilling winters. Well, why not? There is nothing that can be preferred over style and fashion.
The trend of short skirts was encouraged by Luella in the designer collection. Since then, the fashion markets have been flooded with stylish and trendy mini skirts. What is so much chic these days is the trend of printed floral skirts. Well, flowers are all around…pick up some trendy floral skirts to make yourself look flowery too.
These beautiful skirts are readily available in all fashion stores. You can choose the best ones out of myriad variety from Top Shop as well as Urban Outfitters. These pieces look so chunky and funky. They are just irresistible. These skirts are affordable too. I have already bought a few of them for the season.
For trying out a different look, you can pair up a floral top with a plain skirt. This would make you look trendy and different.
