The most recent collection by the fashion tycoon Christian Dior has been launched. The cruise collection is meant for the spring/ summer 2009. John Galliano, the man with great genius, was recently travelled to the States and was awarded at Savannah College of Art. The journey was the occasion that led to the display of his new collection at Gustavino’s in New York.

The collection is as usual full of vivacious and bright colors. The spring and summer collection ought to be a miniature of a palette of beautiful colors. The sensual outfits by the renowned designer are chic and elegant. The fashion artist has made use of light and beautiful fabrics for the season. The collection displayed the Latin American roots of the designer as it exhibited the Mexican taste of the artist through the vivid and sensuous animal prints, off-shoulder tops and sombreros. The designer has also included tiered dresses in the collection, which is definitely going to influence the fashion trend this year.

Overall, the collection was a reiteration of the S/S ‘08 cruise collection by Dior with embellishments, full skirts and beautiful neck lines.
