The British Fashion Council (BFC) endeavours to encourage the creativity of young fashion designers by sponsoring them every year. This sponsorship is a great support for the emerging talent of the new generation and also, it helps to establish the innovative, youthful and artistic fashion artists to establish themselves in the glamorous world of fashion.

The BFC has announced the winners of the New Generation sponsorship for the spring/summer season of 2009. the announcement has been made a few months before the eagerly awaited London Fashion Week so that it may boost up the young designers.

Out of plethora of fashion artists, the BFC has selected only a handful. These dazzling fashion designers are Danielle Scutt, Meadham Kirchoff, Louise Goldin, House of Holland and Peter Pilotto. These lucky ones now will have the fortune smiling at their doors. The House of Holland has had the luck for the second time and as usual it has been backed by the Topshop while it is the first time for Peter Pilotto and therefore more exciting for us.

The exhibition sponsorship has been rewarded to Felder Felder, Nicolas Kirkwood, David David, Hannah Marshall, and Poltock and Walsh. Nasir Mazhar has got the golden opportunity to be the proud host of the gala occasion Dover Street Market during the London Fashion Week.
