My ladies if I had been a man, I would have definitely swept the bold and beautiful Marion Cotillard who seemed to have kept the men folk twisting throughout for more with her rather daring dress. For sure, she knows how to hog the limelight as she did this year in the Oscars.
Well, now if you would go back and take a look at one of the designers collection who had displayed similar pattern of dress in his stunning collection is none other than Jean Paul Gaultier. The dress worn by Marion was featured in Gaultier’s Spring 2008 collection which was done in green and gold colour.
Now that we know where the dress came from and what kind of effort have went into tailoring that dress for such a big occasion, let us say kudos man, you have done it again. Marion is not only a great actress; she has a way in her of keeping in sync with the latest trends in the market. Way to go woman!

Folks, I would never tire of updating you about all the hot and happening news that’s hitting the catwalk in the Milan Fashion Week. By Jesus, the collection of the iconoclastic duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, known globally for their quick take on all British things, played a real high on the catwalk with their Highland fashion streaks.
The women dressed in peasant skirts would have straightway got the most loving node of the old granny’s for their grand children’s. Well, their men’s collection too had the crowd asking for more. When the dashing dudes walked down the ramp all dressed in the Highlander’s dress code, they made a gala parade. With jeans, leather jackets, boots and oversized bags making a comeback, this is for sure D & G FASHION.
Here’s a gallery of the men’s collection…a feast for the fashion connoisseurs.

It wasn’t all about Missoni, Cavalli and Emporio at the Milan Fashion Week this time. The fashionistas witnessed a splurge of the best designer outfits. The D & G duo had a blast with their posh plaid gowns, all done in Scottish motif that transformed the massive catwalk stage into the beautiful ballrooms of Scotland in the Milan Fashion Week.
The terrific studs famous for their sexy corsets, made a dash for the highland style of Scotland, where they made use of a mind-boggling variety of tartan and plaids to highlight the skirts worn by peasant womenfolk’s, flouncy looking gowns decorated with either a plain or muttonchop necks.
Boy, it was rather a shock for the otherwise elite class of women, as D & G is best known for their ultra-chic and sexy corsets and by Jesus, what a transformation. I am sure that the British mothers and the sweet looking grandma’s would surely bless them with all their heart.
Take a look…flown straight from the Scottish Highland…

Giorgio Armani surely has a thing in him, which sets him apart with a niche identity in the world of fashion. The man has such a sense of grace as his age that literally any model will fall for his charm, not to mention about his loyal list of clientele, which includes the who’s who of the world. Super models, business tycoons, politicians, Hollywood studs and hotties, all loves this man for his unique creations, which as times passes by is becoming even more extraordinaire and beautiful.
The designer who normally kicks off the grand finale with his splendid collection opened up the Monday morning at Milan Fashion Week with his younger Emporio collection. He was quoted saying, “After seasons of colour, black is back. But, to be truthful, it has never really gone away.”

The show was thrown open with a man dressed in a brown velvet suit. His collection was mainly a fusion of his all-time favourite global elements – Chinese, Indian to Spanish flavours.
Here’s a sneak peek into what send the audiences adrenaline rushing like hot pipes…

Those who had been waiting for the London Fashion Week to kick-start it was definitely a treat for them, as all the top-shot designers unveiled their well-crafted creations. Whoever thought that Paris is the world of fashion, think again, as I would say that LFW truly showed their fashion extravaganza by delighting the fashionistas with sexy designs and cuts.
Here are few shots – models displaying the outfits at LFW

Many big British labels returned to LFW this season to show off their charismatic collection. The biggies to be named are hot brands such as Vivienne Westwood, the classic Ossie Clark, Topshop Unique Collection and many others. Topshop now have shot high in the London fashion business and have opened up quite many stores. It boasts of housing some of the leading celebrity designers of the nation.
The designers too had an impact on the audience with their flamboyant collections. John Rocha, Paul Costelloe, Jasper Conran almost had the fashion freaks screaming for more.

The New York Fashion Week 2008 saw many celebrities in their ‘what they think’ their killer outfits. While designers such as Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren never failed to surprise the fashionistas with their yet again unique designs and fabrics, Victoria Beckham was the prized catch for the shutterbugs as she made a posh and spicy appearance in her backless top.
The woman surely is a beauty, I must say and she indeed deserves the tag of being the most stylish celebrity. At 33, she has the curves that any actress would die to have and she still oozes the oomph factor with style and attitude, which is hard to beat.

Successful in all her projects, a super sexy mama and a society friendly celebrity, she made a thunderous appearance in the Marc Jacobs show at New York Fashion Show and bingo, she overshadowed even the famous supermodel Heidi Klum, with her bare dare backless shot.

Oh boy, you definitely cannot miss her hot prison – chic get-up. Some might say she looks pathetic, but folks, my friends and I are just smitten by her unique idea. She looks stunning.
Who says, that it is a prisoner’s yucky shade, people add some colour to your life. Learn it from Victoria.

Balmain has been one of my hot favorites so far. I simply adore the exuberance of this French couturier. The ultra- modern and superbly gorgeous fashion that is defined by this great maestro of art is commendable. This year too, the designer collection by Pierre Balmain has been greatly applauded by the fashion freaks. The style that he flaunts is too chic. Of course, he is one of the most popular designers among the royal classes of Europe and Hollywood too.

This year, I was eagerly waiting for his collection to be unleashed and like each year, his creativity widens the outlook of fashion lovers. I was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful collection designed by such a great artist. What is peculiar about his collection
is that it tends to sustain a feminine charm about it while it exudes the modern flavor. The elegance of his silhouettes is absolutely awe-inspiring. The magnificence and the sumptuousness displayed by the garments of this immensely artistic designer are incomparable.
This year, the great variety of the designs in the designer collection has been appreciated by the onlookers. I personally like the transient gowns which partially flaunt the beautiful bodies of the models. The colors used in the outfits are not overtly bright and put forward a very soothing aura.

The awesome threesome lady hot shots took the Paris Fashion week by storm when they were seated in the privileged front row seats attending the Roland Mouret Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2008 collection. The Beckham girl as usual was dressed for the occasion. Victoria loves to hog the lime light and this time too she did make a style statement by wearing somewhat an oldie looking outfit. Fashion critics might have overlooked her style sense this time but she couldn’t shoo away the bloggers space who hunted her down and gave their words on how she looked.
Victoria came dressed in RM. It did overshadow her style stunts earlier though for sure it wouldn’t look bad on you. This is how she was dressed- a silk tweed knee-length dress in light grey shade. The dress had contrast panels and done in origami fold detailing. With nice looking pleats under the waist, an inverted pleat on front and cotton vitro pleats on shoulder, the dress will surely enhance your look when matched with black pumps and a classic Dior bag. Mark my words!
Okay, now talking about the other two babes, who joined the front row, was Dita Von Tesse and the ever-smashing Claudia Schiffer.

Dita was dressed in an RM navy coloured knee-length cotton stressed outfit. It had a high-cut neckline with raised darts, drape work at the waist that was centered on a tiny diamond shaped panel. The sleeves were cap shaped with little bit of drape detailing on the shoulder. I must say, she looked good the way she carried it. However, some might say that she appeared more like a Hollywood pimp. No offence intended.
I liked Claudia Schiffer the best. She looked stunning in the way she carried the overall match that she did flaunt that day.
