When we last visited Vintage Red they were releasing their Spring 2008 line and we were so impressed with the pieces, not to mention the vibe of the company, that we were falling over ourselves to sing its praise.
We wrote things like, “Vintage Red’s latest designer accessories contribution to our closet is inspired by world travels, beers in Bali, and long laughs shared with “citizens of the world” and “we love a line of clothing that wears like a postcard and a company with pride like poetry.” Is it obvious that we were smitten?
Fast forward to the now. Spring fashion planet has long ago sprung and wilted beneath the heat of summer and we’re standing on the cusp of change- falling leaves and football. We need new clothes.

Here is a new trend for the men’s footwear. It is great, in deed, to see such an innovation for men’s shoes. Men with short heights often feel jealous of the high heel shoes for women and just wonder if they too, could wear shoes with heels so that they cal also look taller and more stylish. Well, the wishes of all such stylish and fashionable men have come true. Now, the men can wear wedge heels without any hesitation and look the most stylish guys around.
It is actually great to see that such a trend is being promoted at the gala event of the Milan Fashion Week and that too, by the well renowned fashion brand Fendi. The fashion designer introduced these innovative footwear with heels attached to the soles of men’s shoes. The audience was so delighted to see this latest trend brought in so grandly by the designer tag.
There have been so many new trends that have come to the fore during this fashion event such as mankini, shining macs and skirt shorts, but for me, the wedges for men are the best of all. Let’s hope to witness them soon at the high street fashion stores.

John Galliano for spring summer 2008 offers us for the umpteenth time a cascade of colors. A swirl of clothes and characters. A phantasmagorical time it becomes impossible to stop. A small republic or would be perhaps better to say dell’anarchia realm where everything is possible, where everything is stirred and is reborn into a flow really endless.
The Collection John Galliano spring-summer 2009 seems to move in an almost tribal dance that unites and dismembering. It creates and destroys joyfully in a game ridanciano of shapes and colors.

This is indeed great news for all the people who love fashionable designer stuff. You people have the opportunity to take home elite designer apparels as well as accessories at a grand auction. The very well known Christie’s house of auction is going to hold a multi-owner vintage couture sale. This sale would be the first of its kinds. The auction will take place in New York on the 2nd of July. So, try to be free of your appointments on that day to grab the golden prospect. The auction will be a place to witnees the products by the big shots of the fashion world such as Gianni Versace, Balenciaga , Christian Lacroix, Thierry Mugler, and Mainbocher.
What is special about the auction is that it would pay a tribute to the extremely talented and renowned French couturier Yves Saint Laurent who recently passed away. the event would include the display and auction of apparels and jewelry designed by Yves Saint Laurent in every decade of his life. Such a display will show the progress of the dexterous fashion designer.
Laura Leyfer, the couture specialist at Christie’s, remarks that these products are in good condition and are affordable in their prices. Just look at the YSL designed Christian Dior dress from Fall/Winter in 1958. the approximate price of this piece is $1,000-1,500 only while this cut-out floral necklace designed by Saint Laurent for Spring/Summer 1990 would be available roughly for $1,000-1,500.

The Milan Fashion Week comes with a great store of imagination for all its viewers. The grand event is waited eagerly by all the people who are literally crazy about fashion. The fashion week has come this time with some exclusive designs and outfits that have never been encountered before. The fashion week started off with a huge bang on the 21st of this month and has wrapped up today. The infinitesimal patterns in men’s clothing have amazed the stylish audience to a great extent.

Various fashion designers contributed to make the Milan Fashion Week, an event worth cherishing for. Ennio Capasa made a beautiful attempt to put forward eco fashion that has till now been welcomed only by women’s wear.
Christopher Bailey, the renowned designer, exhibited somber outfits at the show. The outfits were dashing with their sober look as opposed to some designers who stresses on shining shirts which seemed to look very out dated. Bailey, rather preferred to continue with the style that he presented in FW/08-09. There were pastoral shades in his creations.

Dolce & Gabbana gave an entirely new look to men’s clothing by mingling up the concepts of daywear and night wear. This innovation was much applauded by the audience. The casual and carefree pinstripe suits closely resembling pajamas were paired with exclusive evening formal shirts.
Overall, the entire event gave new ideas and concepts that would be followed by stylish men this season!
