It seems that today’s couture houses have to work harder for their customers than ever before often because today’s clients have increasingly busy schedules.

Couture also remains a way to reinforce a brand’s image. We can’t all afford the gorgeous Dalliances gown shown above but the beautiful couture clothing serves as an advertisement for the quality and inventiveness of the designer.

Here is a new trend for the men’s footwear. It is great, in deed, to see such an innovation for men’s shoes. Men with short heights often feel jealous of the high heel shoes for women and just wonder if they too, could wear shoes with heels so that they cal also look taller and more stylish. Well, the wishes of all such stylish and fashionable men have come true. Now, the men can wear wedge heels without any hesitation and look the most stylish guys around.

It is actually great to see that such a trend is being promoted at the gala event of the Milan Fashion Week and that too, by the well renowned fashion brand Fendi. The fashion designer introduced these innovative footwear with heels attached to the soles of men’s shoes. The audience was so delighted to see this latest trend brought in so grandly by the designer tag.

There have been so many new trends that have come to the fore during this fashion event such as mankini, shining macs and skirt shorts, but for me, the wedges for men are the best of all. Let’s hope to witness them soon at the high street fashion stores.

Just look at the YSL designed Christian Dior dress from Fall/Winter in 1958. the approximate price of this piece is $1,000-1,500 only while this cut-out floral necklace designed by Saint Laurent for Spring/Summer 1990 would be available roughly for $1,000-1,500.

Tracy Reese is known for femininity, with super-sweet dresses and lady-like lacy skirts.
