Plastic Lamps in have seen lamps made from several dissimilar types of recycled materials, count plastic bottles, and product are often fabulous. One of the most things about green design is that all shiny, snappy, translucent, funky or everyday works very well for repurposing into a lamp. There is a something particularly stunning about the light creatures created by Lisa Foo and Su Sim. This pair of designers sat down with a pile of plastic mineral water bottles and came up with a set of etheral light creation where plastic bottles become unrecognizable as fluid, organic, blossoming forms.

Initially created for incident Art for Grabs at the Central Market in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the light forms are made from bottles the artist collected and saved themselves. The forms are titled according to their shape, as stingrays, sea creatures, or immediately organisms. You can recognize more about Su Sim’s ponderings on drawing and design in her blog.
