Umbrella Pot: The water saving pot

By admin | September 5, 2007

Based on the idea of rain water harvesting is this flower pot, which is not only eco-friendly but also does away with the hassle of watering the plant again and again (at least during the monsoons).

This unique pot features an umbrella that collects the rain water that falls on the plant and sends it to the bottom from where it can be recycled and used by the plant whenever the roots are in need of moisture.

Highly utilitarian and very close to nature is this unique pot…though the design seems awkward at the first look but the fact that it is still in developing stage spares it from any comments.
