Chloe is debuting a chic tote for fall crafted from alligator-stamped (that sounds humane, doesn’t it?) calfskin leather. The Cyndi bag above is in a subtle yet chic slate grey that makes fall just one time of year to enjoy carrying it. (The bag is also available in black patent.)
As far as pricey totes go, it’s hard for me to get enthused about much in this handbag-saturated age we’re living in (I’m still carrying the original L.L. Bean boat and tote — my grandmother would be proud), but this bag does strike me as versatile and classic, a kind of sleeper it-bag you could carry for more than a few seasons. Oversized at 15 x 13 x 7.5 inches with a 6.5 inch handle drop, this tote is currently available exclusively at Net-a-Porter for $2,200.

Those of you who dream of being the perfect fairytale princess will be thrilled to with Disney Bridal. Designer Kirstie Kelly has devised a collection of gowns based on the six Disney Princesses: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine, Ariel, and Belle. Each princess has inspired two or three styles of bridal gown, two or three gowns for bridesmaids (called maidens), and for flower girls (aka blossoms).
(And the men? Sorry. There are no fairy-tale princes in this story. And maybe, not being one for peach satin tights and knee pants, you’re just as pleased about that, Sir Groom-to-Be…)

The bridal gowns are all full-length, but the bridesmaid and flower girl dresses come in long and shorter styles — though not each style has both lengths. Check out the gallery for a taste, and then hop over to Disneybridal.com for the full range!

There is nothing wrong with an accessory that’s subtle and delicate — there are plenty of times when that’s exactly what an outfit needs. However, we find more occasions on which we’d prefer to wear a piece that brings a little more to the table — the type of piece that can make a stranger take a second look.

With age comes dignity, or so the saying goes. And with the world’s leading sportswear brand, it’s kinda starting to ring true. fashion Now that Nike’s been around for 30 years, infiltrating and dominating equipment sales in almost every major sport, they’re starting to venture into the fashion world. Well, not very deep into it — they’re launching a lifestyle line called Nike Sportswear.

Apparently, the company is finally ready to acknowledge that everybody who wears Nike isn’t a winner — or even an athlete. The brand has been so fixated on smashing its way into every sport from football to golf to hockey, that they’re just now waking up to the fact that even non-athletes want to wear their stuff purely because they’re brand loyal.
